About Lucy Crowe

Lucy Crowe is a 20 year old emerging artist, based in Naarm. She is studying Fine Arts and Psychology at Monash University, currently holding exhibitions and accepting commissions. She explores themes such as identity, belonging and family through her studio practise, working with a range of mediums but most commonly film photography and oil painting. She creates innovative work, pushing the boundaries of tradition techniques.

Lucy's work is infused with elements of the surrealism style, in an aesthetic and philosophical sense, reflecting her beliefs that art has the power to transcend the ordinary, to speak the truths not visible to the naked eye.

“Through my art, I invite viewers to embark on a journey of reflection, to see beyond the surface and explore the deeper connections that bind us all, in the hopes of finding a shared resonance, a common thread of understanding and empathy.

This is not just a collection of works, but a map of my ongoing exploration into the heart of what it means to be human.”
